KangaPowerhouse is a program designed to educate, empower and equip women with tools to assist in strengthening the powerhouse of your body: Your Pelvic Floor.
Many women have a weakened pelvic floor and suffer from symptoms such as leaking urine, passing wind involuntarily, reduced sensation during sex and the list goes on. It's common. But it's not normal and not something any woman should live with without seeking help.
Endorsed and encouraged by Women's Health Physiotherapists, the KangaPowerhouse program can further help in improving the function of your pelvic floor. We will teach you about the function of your pelvic floor, offer practical ways you can improve function and learn fun and effective exercises to connect with and strengthen your pelvic floor.
Described as "Yoga for the Pelvic Floor" you will be empowered by this program and improve confidence in the function of your body, in a supportive and caring environment.
The person behind the name - JULIE TUPLER
Julie Tupler is a qualified nurse, certified personal trainer and maternity advisor. She lives and works in USA, New York City.
As early as 1990 she began developing the Tupler-Technique®, a research and experience-based exercise program to close diastasis recti, the effectiveness of which has been proven by studies.
Julie has been training medical and fitness professionals around the world in her Tupler Technique® since 2009. She is a frequent speaker at both medical and fitness conferences.
The basis of the Tupler Technique® is the closing of the diastasis recti by strengthening the connective tissue, because the extensive tissue between the separated abdominal muscles can cause various problems.
The Tupler Technique® is a research-based exercise program for the proven effective treatment of diastasis recti.

Kangatraining is a full body workout that combines cardio, core work and strengthening exercises. Your baby is included in the entire class and is in the carrier for most of the time (often sleeping!) which means you gradually build up your strength. We work on safely re strengthening your core and pelvic floor.
